Hot water everywhere EXCEPT kitchen sink?

I have a Delta single arm/ball faucet in the kitchen. If yous put it in the HOT position, the catamenia is fine but the water is but tepid. By turning off the water alternately on the hot and common cold sides under the sink, it appears they are working the way they are supposed to... getting water from the right pipes... other than the hot water isn't hot. It didn't used to be that mode, but information technology must take happened gradually considering it wasn't similar it was working one day and all of a sudden not the adjacent. The hot water is really hot everywhere else in the house. How can it exist that the water comes from the hot water pipes under the sink simply it isn't hot?? It doesn't make sense to me, so I'thousand sure there is something going on that only pros sympathise. Tin can you assistance please? I can't beget a plumber correct at present...

Two points where the menses can become chock-full. Check the terminate on the supply line below the sink and more likely, check the cartridge inside the valve for droppings.

I take a Delta single arm/ball faucet in the kitchen.

I don't believe you lot take a cartridge in a "ball blazon faucet". (see image)
Turn the water off and renove all the parts including the seats and springs.
At present place a pan over the open faucet and plow the hot water terminate back on and let it run for awhile. Practise yo get hot water at present? If and so clean around the inlet ports and replace the seats and springs. If y'all tin can't get hot h2o through the open valve click on back and tell me about it. Practiced luck, Tom

There isn't whatever problem with the menstruum at all. Simply the water temp, and merely at this particular place in the business firm. This type of faucet doesn't have a cartridge -- ball type faucet by Delta.

Yeah, that's what I'yard saying. Information technology started doing this about a month agone. The simply thing we had done, and it was back several months before that, was Culligan installing a water filter under the sink. As far equally I know it doesn't do anything with the hot water at all. And it was months later that this problem started.

I'thou and so confused as to how the water can come from the hot water valve but not be hot when at that place's hot water at other places in the firm. (Nosotros only have ane h2o heater.) And how it could have worked in one case only fine and now doesn't.? :(

OK! That helps. We can reassemble the kitchen faucet since it isn't the sourse of the problem. Luke wan water coming out of the hot water supply tells me that you have a cross connection upwards stream from the kitchen. And where exercise yous detect crossconnections? In one handled faucets!! That'due south where.
Let'due south endeavour eliminating suspects. I desire you to get around to every ane handle faucet in the house and shut the hot water angle stop. Shut them down including the bathtub/shower. Can you get hot water out of the kitchen faucet now? Stay with me on this and I'll wait on your reply. Tom

IfTX, I may have missed a post or two. Have we had you disconnect the hot supply afterwards the valve below the sink. If non endeavor that an and so open that stop valve catching the water in a pan or bucket. Information technology should be hot just the menstruation/volume may be restricted.

In that location are three other single-handle faucets in the house, all are in the bathroom showers. Are we talking up in the attic? If and then, that may take to wait until the hubby is habitation... I don't practice spider areas or heights besides well...

Some showers exercise not have supply stops while some have them congenital inisde the mixing valve. Nigh every sink and toilet has a small valve on the supply piping under the sink or, on a toilet, nether the tank. Turn the valve off and disconnect the line coming out of the valve non going into it. Might wait for your husband to come up domicile or perchance take some pics under the sink and send them to us.
